James Cox is the lead inspector & leak detection expert of Acclaimed Inspections . James is a Certified Master Inspector (CMI), meaning that he is among the best and most experienced home inspectors in the industry and has agreed to abide by the strictest Code of Ethics during his inspections. In addition to being a home inspector, James served as a member of the Southlake, TX Department of Public Safety as a Firefighter/Paramedic.

This experience helped shape him into an inspector who looks out for the safety of his clients.

At Acclaimed Inspections, we strongly believe that “Experience is Everything.” There is no substitute for experience when it comes to inspecting homes, and James Cox (aka Jimmy Cox) has been working in the inspection industry for over 20 years now. He began his career as a home inspector in 2001, working under strict TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) standards.

Jimmy owned and operated his first Inspection business full time while also serving the Southlake Fire Department as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic until his early retirement for relocation purposes. After his permanent move to Florida in 2011, he quickly found himself back in the inspection business! There was a great need for quality inspectors here locally and his personalized inspection process, that exceeds the industry standard, quickly earned him the reputation of being “one of the best inspectors in North Florida”. His impeccable name recognition inspired the start of ACCLAIMED INSPECTIONS & ADVANCED LEAK DETECTION.
